What goes into our Kon-Tiki Mattress?

A 3” thick coconut coir slab is placed upon 4” of firm organic latex foam. This construction provides the sleeper with a firm and breathable sleeping surface while the latex core adds a bit of flexibility that adapts to the sleepers body, without sacrificing the firm feel of coconut coir.

The exterior case is made using two layers of plush, flexible, and durable, organic Cotton and hemp fabric. Albertan sheep’s wool is quilted between these two layers. Wool brings breathability, cooling, and anti-microbial properties to your mattress. Our in house sewn case is designed to be removed without lifting the mattress, and is washable.
